Ningxia East Thermal Power Plant

2010 April 2^nd: Yinchuan Urban Planning Bureau issued PR China Statement of Opinion on Site Selection of Construction Project (Site Selection 2010 No. 48)

2010 April 8^th: Ningxia East Thermal Power Co., Ltd 4×200MW CCHP Project “Main Equipment Purchase” and “Long Term Maintenance” Contracts Signing Ceremony took place in Ningxia International Hotel. The event was attended by senior government officials of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and Yinchuan City headed by Vice Chairman of Ningxia Zhao Xiaoping and Yinchuan Mayor Wang Rugui, Hanas Group’s top management team, heads of banks and financial institutions and senior directors and engineers from Chinese and international technology companies.

2010 April 21^st: Ningxia Development and Reform Commission issued Approval of Ningxia East Thermal Power Co., Ltd 4×200MW CCHP Project (NDRC Approval Issue 2010 No.81)

2011 Mar 8^th: Ground breaking ceremony of the plant’s main building was held amidst festive crackers. The event was witnessed by top leaders of Hanas Group and heads of Hanas subsidiaries and all staff members of Ningxia East Thermal Power Plant.

2011 Aug 1^st: Senior officials of Yinchuan City headed by Yinchuan Mayor Wang Rugui visited Ningxia East Thermal Power Co., Ltd 4×200MW CCHP Project for a field investigation. The government officials were guided and escorted by Hanas Group leaders.

2011 Sept 27^th: Senior officials of Ningxia Government headed by Vice Chairman Zhao Xiaoping visited Ningxia East Thermal Power Co., Ltd 4×200MW CCHP Project and was briefed on Ningxia East Thermal Power Plant, Hanas LNG project and the construction of Yinchuan city ring high pressure natural gas pipeline.

2012 Jan 14^th: Senior officials of Ningxia Government headed by Executive Vice Chairman Qi Tongsheng visited Hanas Group and were briefed on the construction process of Ningxia East Thermal Power Plant by Hanas Group leaders.

2014 Aug. 28^th: This day marked the official business operation of Ningxia East Thermal Power Plant.

Ningxia West Thermal Power Plant

2003 June 10^th: Ningxia Development and Planning Committee officially gave written comments on the Feasibility Report of Yinchuan Natural Gas Thermal Power No. 1 Plant (i.e. Ningxia West Thermal Power Plant) and Its Heating Network, and gave some specific requirement regarding the location, scale, investment and so on.

2005 Sept 15^th: Ningxia Hanas Natural Gas Thermal Power Plant (i.e. Ningxia West Thermal Power Plant) Project gas turbine generator purchasing contract was signed in Yinchuan.

2005 Sept 22^nd: Construction of Hanas Natural Gas Thermal Power Plant (i.e. Ningxia West Thermal Power Plant), the first of its kind in Ningxia, was officially kicked off. The ground breaking ceremony was attended by senior officials of Ningxia and Yinchuan.

2007 Feb 6^th: Ningxia Development and Reform Commission issued Approval of Yinchuan Natural Gas Thermal Power No.1 Plant (NDRC Energy Issue 2017 No. 112).

2007 Aug 16^th: Grbine plant excavation began (Civil work began)

2009 Oct 19^th: Li Rui, Vice Chairman of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region visited the power plant.

2009 Nov 11^th: This day marked the plant’s start of official business operation (power generation and heating supply).

2010 Mar 9^th: Senior officials of Yinchuan headed by Yinchuan CPC Secretary Cui Bo visited the power plant for investigation into the plant operation and Yinchuan city heating work.

2011 Dec 6^th: Ningxia Development and Reform Commission issued Approval of Yinchuan Natural Gas Thermal Power No.1 Plant Gas-Steam Combined Cycle Unit Expansion Project (NDRC Approval Issue 2011 No. 764).

2011 Aug. 1^st: Senior officials of Yinchuan headed by Mayor Wang Rugui visited Ningxia East Thermal Power Plant, Yinchuan City Ring High Pressure Natural Gas Pipeline, Hanas LNG plant and the expansion project of Hanas West Thermal Power Plant Phase II.
