Ningxia East Thermal Power Co., Ltd. Skilled Talents (Labor Model) Innovation workshop was officially established by Yinchuan Labor Union in November 2018. Innovation workshop gathers young pioneers of the company, with the purpose of serving operation, giving full play to the leadership of labor model, leading by technical backbone, efficient teamwork, creating efficiency and excellence, and creating a “new engine” for enterprise competition.

The Innovation Workshop is headed by Yinchuan City Labor Model. It will work with seven key innovative teams, such as operation management, equipment maintenance and safety management, to carry out innovative research activities and set up innovative demonstration models. Through transforming the problems in front-line teams into difficulties and highlights of design and invention, the key research projects are screened and set up in the form of topics. The success rate of the project has been greatly improved, and the sense of participation and achievement of the staff has been enhanced. Finally, the “three wins” result of technological innovation breakthrough, personnel quality improvement and enterprise comprehensive strength enhancement has been achieved.

Since this plant established, more than 60 projects of technological innovation, transformation and design have been put forward and completed, which saves more than 10 million yuan in operation cost for enterprises. Since the founding of Innovation Workshop in 2018, there have emerged outstanding model workers in Yinchuan City, such as gold medal workers, Fengcheng craftsmen, the most beautiful model workers in Xingqing District, and advanced workers in business and trade logistics. At the same time, major breakthroughs have been made in the innovation projects of professional technical teams, which have won six honors in the municipal workers ‘technological innovation competition, and the operation team has won the honor of “workers’ pioneer” at the autonomous region level. From individual independent innovation to team cooperation, from project selection and project selection to achievement display and promotion, not only sets an example, but also activates the motivation and cohesion of the front-line team to participate in innovation research, effectively realizes the goal of reducing energy consumption of unit operation and improving the economic benefits of the company. In 2019, innovation has made the work more brilliant. Six projects have been declared “on the way”.

In the future, the Innovation Workshop will follow the road of integrating the company’s most advantageous resources, accelerating the pace of training young backbone talents, encouraging more grass-roots talents and teams to offer suggestions for enterprises, and continuously creating the greatest value.
