Expanding and Promoting Skills-GT and Excitation External Training

In order to further improve the operation and maintenance level of the GT and ST excitation system, the professional technicians of the Ningxia East Thermal Organized the training of the GT maintenance technology theory, and the generator excitation system operation and maintenance skills improvement in early March.

The theoretical training of GT maintenance technology was organized by Yixing Training Center of Siemens (China) Power Generation Service. The training focused on the design concept of the core components of GT, GT maintenance technology, combustion tuning, borescope detection. Through advanced VR and AR technology, we have personally experienced the GT 3D model checking drill and parts disassembly simulation training.

The operation and maintenance skills training of generator excitation system was conducted in Shanghai Yuzhang Electric Co., Ltd. The training is included the working theory of excitation system, test method, maintenance mode, also on-site practical training. Because the excitation system does not have the conditions of program operation under the operating conditions, after practical training, we have made up for the shortcomings of our software. At the same time, the platform and technical personnel from various power plants to conduct in-depth exchanges, so that our plant’s professional and technical personnel have a more understanding of the maintenance of the excitation system, and accumulated more valuable experience.
