Recently, the eastern thermal power company has comprehensively summarized the 5S management activities in the past year. The activity starts with the “5S practical training” in mid-September 2018. The company organized all employees to achieve remarkable results in improving the production environment, improving production efficiency, creating an enterprise management atmosphere and enhancing the enterprise image.
Since 5S management mechanism has been established for one year, the company has integrated 5S management mechanism into production management in an all-round way based on the actual situation. Through implementation: a series of practical methods, such as division of responsibility area, formulation of actual combat plan, arrangement of special person for supervision, regular publication of inspection results, comparison of results, etc. Up to now, with the joint efforts of the whole staff, 48 transformation projects have been successfully completed and 46 inspection results have been publicized.
Through the implementation of the 5S management activity, the overall work efficiency is improved, and good work mood is easy to form; the corporate image is improved, and the working standard atmosphere is formed for employees; the operation quality of equipment is improved, material waste and defects of machinery and equipment are reduced; the sense of belonging of employees is enhanced, and everyone becomes literate.
