As the head of a department, we should realize that a team with a lax mind and a team of their own has no combat effectiveness. Only a team with mutual trust, understanding and cooperation can burst out a strong cohesion and combat effectiveness.

Department management is a long-term process. In daily work, the person in charge should pay attention to establish a good mass base, dare to manage, be good at management, and understand the ideological trends of department employees. To unite all of us, we should not only be friends with each employee, but also make friends among employees to create a good platform for employees.

We need to start from the following aspects

No.1 exemplary role

The head of the Department shall establish the concept of being responsible for the enterprise and employees, play a good role as a model, practice, strictly abide by the company’s rules and regulations, and drive all employees of the Department to do every work together.

No.2 clear rewards and punishments

Evaluate every employee objectively and fairly, praise the good deeds of the employees, give timely correction and criticism to the violations of disciplines and regulations, and truthfully report the performance of the Department’s employees to the leaders. We should play a role of bridge between leaders and employees, promote integrity in the Department, and create an open, fair and transparent working atmosphere.

No.3 correct guidance

Strengthen democratic management, fully mobilize the enthusiasm, initiative and creativity of the Department staff, enhance the collective concept of the Department, and strive to create a good working situation of “joint management and everyone’s participation” in the department management.

No.4 strengthen communication

In order to improve the combat effectiveness of the Department staff, the department head should not only sincerely care for the staff and be enthusiastic to help the staff, but also do a good job in communication with the staff, including thinking, learning, work, life, etc., so as to understand the characteristics of the Department staff, so as to give full play to their specialties in the work. The person in charge of the Department shall establish the position of technical authority and strive to improve the level of safety production management. No.7 safety management

Safety production is the main theme of electric power enterprises, and it is also an eternal topic for the healthy development of enterprises. Department heads should not relax on this theme and take safety as the top priority at all times.
