On the afternoon of October 14, Wu Xiuzhang, vice chairman of the autonomous region, went to Ningxia East thermal power plant to investigate the production and operation of the heating work for this winter. He stressed that we should actively do a good job in gas source guarantee, do a good job in the maintenance of heating facilities and equipment in advance, further improve the utilization rate of clean heating in natural gas thermal power plant, and ensure that the general public is clean and warm for the winter.
Wu Xiuzhang went deep into the main workshop and control room of the thermal power plant and inquired about the operation and maintenance of the cogeneration unit, water treatment and environmental protection equipment, central control DCS system, heating and supplementary combustion facilities, etc. When hearing that the thermal power plant has fully completed the maintenance and inspection of heating equipment and water injection pressure test of pipe network, he gave full affirmation and said to all the staff that you have worked hard!
The vice chairmen also stressed that winter heating in the north is a top priority for people’s livelihood, which is related to the vital interests of the people and social stability. Our district is about to enter the winter heating period, especially today when the cold wave comes and the temperature drops suddenly. You should attach great importance to it, bear in mind the social responsibility, focus on the people’s warm and cold, conscientiously, actively and steadily do a good job in all the preparations for heating, and ensure the safety of heating at any time.
Furtherly he pointed out that it is necessary to strengthen communication and contact with gas supply enterprises, overcome difficulties, resolve pressure and strive to ensure a sufficient and sustainable supply of natural gas. The heating facilities and equipment shall be arranged in a comprehensive way in time, and the problems found shall be solved and rectified immediately without any dead angle or hidden danger. We should improve all kinds of emergency plans at all levels, do well in emergency drills, improve emergency response, and ensure safe, stable and efficient heating.

The Ningxia East thermal power plant under Hanas group is the main heat source of clean heating in Yinchuan City, and the only natural gas cogeneration and heating enterprise in five provinces and regions in Northwest China. The total installed capacity is 900000 kilowatts, the planned heating area is 32 million square meters, which can be increased to 50 million square meters through the supplementary combustion of natural gas supplementary combustion center.
